Enough said.

Lisa Rands Makes First Female Ascent of The Mandala (V12)

Well, almost enough said. I’m not one to rave on about the big numbers — I’m a meager number climber, and believe the quote attributed to Alex Lowe, that the best climber is the one having the most fun. That said, female first ascents are something to celebrate. This is a very cool achievement by Lisa Rands, and perhaps the most exciting aspect is her observation in the RockClimbing.com post above, that:

“When I climbed it, it felt easy,” said Rands. “It makes me realize I can step up my level of climbing.”

I, for one, will look forward to seeing what a “stepped up” Lisa Rands climbs like…

where?
