So I did my rotation at a couple of studios in West Seattle, decided that hot yoga was feeling the best, and signed up for a membership and resumed my practice after several months yoga-less. I feel SO much better, taking a few hours a week to be present for myself in that way… to breathe, and move, and work my body to balance out the hours I spend hunched over a computer.
So, it was my pleasure to take the first week of our “Yoga Month” series at the Verde Voice. I talk a lot about yoga, but I don’t know that I’ve ever written down the story of how I came to yoga before… it was fun to think back and remember, and see just how much my life has evolved in the last few years.
