The latest on our moto life: CW Moto Racing

Chris launched CW Moto Racing / Counter Weight Motorsport in early 2020 with a stack of business cards and a plywood work bench he hand-built from scrap materials in the garage. A year in, he's busy with race bike builds and track prep, and with preparation for the 2021 MotoAmerica season where CW Moto Racing is making its national debut with a CW Moto SV 650 Twins Cup bike.

I'm handling marketing and sponsorship, and am extra hands in the shop but in a very limited scope. Good? Bleeding brakes. Not in my sphere? Anything that could involve added labor if my fumble-fingers fumble a part or drop a bolt.

For more information about the services Chris provides and about the 2021 season, please visit us over at CW Moto Racing. We'll be crisscrossing the country all year and also joining 20+ event days here in the Pacific Northwest, so wherever you are in the US there's a good chance we'll be coming through, with at least one motorcycle, at some point in 2021!

I'm also still blogging and podcasting at The Moto Curious.

Doing both

I'm sitting in a Holiday Inn Express in Willcox, Arizona right now. I've got a few days here after our pre-season testing time out at INDE Motorsports Ranch [https://indemotorsports.com/], one of my favorite places on the face of the planet. It was less expensive and disruptive for me

Sitting strangely still

This morning the alarm clock went off and I turned it off and went back to sleep. Then Chris's went off, and I asked him to please let me sleep. Even after eight plus hours I am still quite tired – my sleep app [https://rise-sleep.app.link/COBLqm6J35?utm_content=
