Sara Lobkovich

Hi, I'm Sara Lobkovich.

I'm the founder and principal consultant at Red Currant Collective, a strategy and change consultancy that serves Thinkydoers and status quo challengers.

I'm also co-owner of CW Moto Racing and Counter Weight Motorsport. I'm the creator and voice of The Moto Curious, a podcast that aims to increase access and inclusion in the motorsports community one Q&A at a time.

This site is where you can find my perfectly imperfectly human first drafts that don't fit anywhere else in my content ecosystem, and will continue to explore themes from my Fewer Better newsletter including focus and flow, truth and belonging, lifelong learning and well-being, and working toward work / life alignment. And as my life in motorsports continues to evolve, the serendipity just continues to grow.

I publish here randomly and infrequently, sometimes about:

  • balancing creation and consumption
  • topping off your own "maybe I could..." tank, and
  • dialing up the whisper in your head saying: "maybe there isn't anything wrong with me" up to a roar.

Season Three: a work in progress

As much as it pains me, I may move this newsletter back to Substack with a new purpose: as my brands grow, I crave a place where I can be just me, in all my rough draft stream of consciousness. For now here, perhaps once I regain access to my

Welcome to the updated SaraLobkovich.com

I've been ping-ponging around the internet since high school, and have accumulated and lost so many domain names and blogs and other online properties it makes my head spin. As I near a formal launch of Red Currant Collective [http://redcurrantco.com] in April of 2021 I needed to simplify

A holiday wish for rest, recovery, and renewal

Happy almost holidays. Later today, I'll close myoffice for a week of rest, recovery, and recharging before beginning 2023. Before I go, though, I wanted to share a parting thought with you as we all shift into a new year where the only thing that's certain is more change. This

Friday Thinkers, thanks to science

Happy Friday! Well team, we made it through another week. I'm a strange mix of busy with year-end details and finding myself with chunks of time to focus, which has been amazing. I'm taking advantage of time to make our training materials more usable, making progress on the book in

Interesting inputs: recent reading round-up

Happy Friday! I've been in a deep working, curiously reading, and dot-connecting mode (which is one of my favorite places to be) while working on my practical guide to OKR book that went out to its first beta readers this week. So many interesting and thought-provoking resources have come across
